North Coast Recycling & Demolition
Major Contracts
The Albury NSW Woolstores Building.  The execution of this demolition contract  presented some difficult logistical problems, principal amongst them being the location of the building on the Hume highway in the centre of Albury and further complicated by the building itself being only one metre in distance from the highway alignment. The site was then prepared for the erection of a Bunnings Hardware Outlet.   The Albury NSW Base Hospital.  Demolition of this (up to) three storey facility also required the removal and disposal of asbestos material.   The Bennett & Fisher Building, Adelaide South Australia.  A seven storey building, the contract called for a complete internal strip-out and the safe removal of friable asbestos material.   Bank of South Australia, Adelaide South Australia.  A nine storey building also requiring internal strip-out and friable asbestos removal.   Coffs Harbour NSW, Park Beach Plaza.  This contract required the complete demolition of a part of the Plaza in preparation for the establishment of a Big W site.   The ETSA Building, South Australia.  An eleven storey internal demolition and friable asbestos removal.   Bridges.  Several contracts have been executed involving bridge demolition.  These include the RSA concrete bridge at Coffs Harbour, which spanned the Pacific highway and which had the added constraints of limited highway closure; a series of five timber bridges on behalf of the NSW Roads & Traffic Authority along the Bruxner highway; the removal, down to river bed level, of a timber and concrete bridge spanning the Taylors Arm River at Macksville NSW.  This particular demolition work required the deployment of qualified divers proficient in the use of underwater cutting equipment.
